Under the cover of immigration enforcement masked, plain clothed, police are grabbing people off the streets in America. The Trump regime are illegally disappearing academics who have spoken out about the genocide in Gaza. This is the fascist dictatorship we have all been warned about and it is happening now, as you read this. These nefarious operations have been filmed by passers by and are chilling to watch. The evil that is Trump and his right wing extremist regime is under way. These academics are legally in the US on working visas and have committed no crimes. Is this the death of academic freedom?
ICE Agents Targeting Trump Regime Undesirables Illegally
This kind of thing was popular under the Pinochet regime in Chilli when that fascist dictatorship disappeared thousands of political dissenters and students. The United States of America is now a repressive fascist state. Masked police disappearing citizens and legally defined foreigners on working visas is deeply disturbing. The US is no longer a reliable ally, as it is in the grip of undemocratic authoritarian forces. Politicians should not have the right to make decisions about who is undesirable, it should be left to the courts and an independent justice system.
Dutton Wants To Disappear Undesirables He So Defines
The call by Peter Dutton to have a referendum about vesting such powers into his hands is similarly disturbing. Dutton is a political animal willing to exaggerate and not adhere to actual facts around such issues. He is also in the Trump mould who sees expedients in demonising scapegoats for political advantage. Australia does not want Dutton, who sees himself as ‘the punisher’, going around condemning and deporting those he deems as public enemies. The courts already have the power to deport dual citizens who actually break the law.
Politicians dining out on fear campaigns and retribution are not the answer.
Australia looks at the extremist Trumpian America with a level of horror at what path this super power has taken. It is fast becoming like the witch trial period of Salem and 1950’s McCarthyism so eloquently captured by Arthur Miller in The Crucible. Americans seem to have a bent for batshit crazy conspiracy fever.

The Trump regime are illegally disappearing academics from University campuses. The police state has been launched already and the Trump regime are openly disobeying the courts. This defiance can only lead to one outcome – civil war. I predict that these Trump minions will come to a very bad end sooner than later. Live by the sword, die by the sword. There are estimated some 600 million guns in America. This is why the extreme behaviour of the Trump regime is so irresponsible.

What is known is that Ozturk was one of several authors of an opinion essay last year published in the Tufts student newspaper that criticized university leaders for not taking a more forceful stand against Israel over its brutal attacks on Palestinians in Gaza. Pro-Israel extremist groups like Canary Mission had published Ozturk’s picture on its website as retaliation for engaging in pro-Palestinian activism, subjecting her to intense online harassment in recent months according to news articles.”
