Australians who are looking for independent leadership in geopolitical matters will be sorely disappointed. AUKUS means Albanese has to support Trump’s America. Illegal attacks on Venezuela and, now Iran by the United States military have all received the green light of approval by the Albanese government. Australia as a vassal state of the US is well under way via the $368 billion AUKUS program dangling as carrot for this Aussie rabbit. Hey, we get to pay for the privilege of ceding our bases to the US and observing our own sovereignty as an illusion. When push comes to shove the little Aussie has to back the big bad Americans or we won’t get any boats.
Albanese Approves Of US/Israel Missile Attacks On Iran
Sure, Iran have been the bad guys for decades and their regime could do with a change but this is not a black and white situation. Israel, some say, is directing this conflict and they are clearly not the undisputed good guys in this power struggle in the Middle East. Netanyahu is still fresh off his genocide in Gaza, where the IDF destroyed an entire city and killed tens of thousands of non-combatants. Ruthless mass murder and ignoring international laws are the Israeli modus operandi. It is impossible to trust the comments made by President Donald Trump because he is an inveterate liar. Is this whole business a well timed distraction from his disastrous polling and the Epstein files?
Trump’s Iran Attack Backed By Anthony Albanese
Trump came to power promising not to put US troops in harm’s way. President Trump the peacemaker is on hold, it seems, and Netanyahu maybe wagging the dog. The Trump regime is doing its best to reinvigorate the petrostate power of America. It is no coincidence that both Venezuela and Iran have vast oil reserves. China has, through its economic miracle taken the mantle as electrostate superpower. The US has no chance to compete in the manufacturing of solar panels and electric vehicles, so it is muscling militarily to maintain its global hegemony. Trump the climate change denier will ignore the universal scientific consensus on global warming to shore up short termist economic goals. This really is the nub of difference between those on the Right and Left around the world. Right wing politics extolls the old status quo – white men, fossil fuels and billionaires. It tells its supporters that these things will last forever and deserve to be in power. Those on the Left, the progressives, believe in fairness and the science. Their supporters want renewables to replace fossil fuels and back diversity within the democratic system. Australia is no exception to this, with voters choosing Labor over the LNP Coalition decisively at the last federal election.

The AI Heresy: A Betrayal of Humanity – Epub
Once you give up your autonomy to a machine, you will never get it back. AI is not your friend, indeed, it has no real sentience at all. It is a very clever digital tool in the hands of the billionaire oligarchy. They design the parameters of the LLM data sets, which means they define what these bots say to the important questions. This is no independent or God like entity. It is like a talking parrot, in that it…
Labor Leaning To The Right Under Albo
Labor has the largest parliamentary advantage in history. However, what we are seeing is the Albanese government morph from Centre Left to Centre Right – right before our eyes. AUKUS means Albanese has to support Trump’s America. The demise of the Liberal party (Australia’s conservative party) in the 2 party preferred system has seen Labor take up the slack in this regard. PM Anthony Albanese wants to represent this body of voters, it seems, rather than tread a progressive policy pathway. Supporting a war mongering and light fingered ally, apparently, fits with his government’s identity in 2026. White is always right, according to Trump and Albo is increasingly supportive of this credo.
“Albanese says Australia supports US action against Iran and stands with the Iranian people’s ‘struggle against oppression’ “
Integrity & Courage Are Thin On The Ground Downunder
You know, one of the things I have learned in life is that it is only when you face your greatest fears that you learn to live with them. PM John Curtin during and after WW2 led an Australia repeatedly let down by Britain in the Indo/Pacific region. The Fall of Singapore was a military disaster of epic proportions. Curtin had to make tough decisions in Australia’s interest, which went against centuries of tradition. Therefore, when newly aligning with the Unites States in the aftermath, Australia was more fiercely independent in its geo-politicking. Fast forward seven decades and comfort zone psychology has made us weak. Generations of leaders thinking that our big ally, the US will keep us safe. This stuff is an illusion. The Japs bombed Darwin and Britain was no where to be seen, when it mattered. In a war between America and China do not think that the US will be looking out for Australian interests, as a priority, when things get willing. Assumptions rarely hold up under duress. To be perfectly honest, our most recent leaders have been venal and probably corrupt in their behaviours with the Americans. Former PM Scot Morrison got us into this AUKUS mess and then went off and worked for the American military industrial complex. The revolving door has seen plenty of top Aussie politicians and civil servants profit post careers by doing the same with multinational mining corporations. Ambition and avarice are popular neoliberal character traits. We lack leaders who have faced war sized fears on the nation’s behalf. Instead we have had a succession of profiteering types that may well cost us plenty in the end. Standing up to bullies takes real courage and integrity, things thin on the ground in the current era. AUKUS means Albanese has to support Trump’s America.
“The Trump regime is rolling back regulation designed to protect public health and limit the warming of the planetary atmosphere. America was slow to take action around climate change in the first place and this reversal is a dangerous and irresponsible action. This backward thinking by Donald Trump is further evidence of his unsuitability for leadership in the 21C. Scientific consensus regarding climate change is unanimous and has been for decades. This wilful disregard for the reality is a crime against humanity. To do this in a bid to prolong a US car industry which has been outmanoeuvred by China tells the world a lot about America.”
One wonders where all of this will end. President Trump makes more illegal moves every day. American citizens have been murdered by ICE agents on the streets of American cities. Trump’s corruption knows no bounds, as he and his family profit from crypto deals to the tune of billions. Election rigging is on the cards by all apparent reports, as the Trump regime seeks to overcome its gross unpopularity by hook or by crook. How much longer will the silence of the Albanese government ring out over these transgressions? Courage and integrity are in short supply, it seems, especially at the top. Mustn’t grumble because AUKUS is on the line. Best to keep schtumm because these billion dollar boat hopes could be sunk. I see the AUKUS money paid as protection racket payments to Trump. How can you trust a bloke who lies as often as he breathes? A fool and his money are easily parted. Australia we are the fools!
