The US federal minimum hourly rate of $7.25 has not changed since 2009. That is 16 years; and have a think about how much stuff has gone up in that period. In Australia, the equivalent wage rate is $24.95. Even, with the dollar exchange rate factored in it is more than double. What kind of ‘so-called’ democracy gets away with exploitative shit like this? This is why many American families need food stamps (SNAP) and other forms of welfare because they allow greedy f****** employers to take advantage of vulnerable people. It is such a f***** up country that they look up to a king sized grifter like Donald Trump. The American minimum hourly rate disgrace.

American Dishonesty & Social Injustice
Social injustice gets me riled up. Powerful people defecating on good, ordinary citizens makes me sick. Institutions, which support the ongoing exploitation of the poor to create billionaires are obscene. We, as in the rest of the world, have allowed this disgusting country to laud it over us for too long. We have bought their bullshit Hollywood movies, which paint a rosy picture of how things are. We have to deal with their big tech multinational corporations not paying their fair share of tax where they operate, as they shift profits to tax havens to avoid paying corporate tax. Dishonesty oozes from them with every lie and fake smile.
Are We Done With American Lies Yet?
Deflection and distraction are the strategies of cheats and liars. Yes, Donald Trump has lots in common with Vladimir Putin on this basis. Look over there, the bad guy is China! No, it is not us, it is those Europeans. We are the good guys, the saviours of the world. OK, we haven’t ever done much to help the fight against climate change, apart from a brief foray under sleepy Joe Biden. OK, we inevitably veto important stuff via the UN security council but that is our right as a superpower. Yes, we sign up to treaties but do not comply with anything that doesn’t serve our purpose. Hey, it is tough being the most powerful nation on earth. Sharing is not in our DNA. Now, we have a leader who is telling the world we have been hard done by. Give me a break! Trump’s grift is to always claim victimhood status – rich coming from a billionaire and the richest nation on earth. If you buy this, you will buy anything. Are we done with American lies yet?
Bullies Pick On Soft Targets
“Have you noticed that Donald Trump always picks on soft targets. Trump has sent in a huge naval aircraft carrier to threaten Venezuela with, after illegally blowing up Venezuelan speedboats in international waters. Yes, he claims they are drug smugglers but no evidence has been provided to prove it. Trump is trash talking Canada and applying onerous tariffs in defiance of a free trade agreement he signed with them. Canadians are notoriously known as nice people throughout the world. The Trump regime’s ICE agents are heavily armed. These masked bullies are beating up on immigrants and Americans with brown skin.”
