The process which is occurring in the United States right now and to a lesser degree elsewhere too is well worth understanding. Those on the Right and in the Trump regime are discarding adherence to the law, as a fundamental of government. Basically, they were unable to achieve their white supremacy and might is right wishes via upholding the existing US Constitution. Donald Trump’s desire for unchecked executive power is fired by this. Those on the Left, in contrast to this, have been sticklers for abiding by the laws of the land. A majority of the American voting public voted for criminality when they elected Trump, a convicted felon to the White House.

Trump’s America More Like Russia In Its Lawlessness
The MAGA faithful and many other Americans no longer care about the law, especially if it gets in the way of them getting what they want. Trump wants to rewrite history and how the law operates in his America. He is going after key individuals who put down his 2020 ‘Big Steal’ claims and pointed to the complete absence of credible evidence for it in countless enquiries. The Trump lies and misinformation are getting official makeovers, it seems. Some like; Anne Applebaum warn that Trump is turning America into Putin’s Russia.

Undemocratic Trump Unwilling To Bear Other Voices
The key thing to comprehend is that those on the Right, having failed to control things by dint of law and order, have gone rogue to achieve their ends. Those on the Left are still holding the Constitutional line, whilst the GOP use anything that comes to hand – threats of violence, mob tactics, corruption, graft, and dictatorship. The game of politics is no longer being played according to the same rules by both sides. White men are in no way content to see their centuries of advantage slip away. These folk will take by guns or money the power they long for. Trump is attacking any opposition, as witnessed by his regime going after the law firms and universities that have facilitated prosecutions of him and opposing political views. This mob will brook no resistance.

Populism Feeds Unconstitutional Authoritarianism
The Trump regime are discarding adherence to the law. America is fast becoming an undemocratic and unconstitutional wild west, where might is right and white is always right. Any civilised country that allows its citizens to hold onto some 600 million guns is highly suspect. The fact that they have a mass shooting event every other day, where innocent people, often children, are murdered via gun violence is testament to their unsoundness. The Trump regime represent the worst of them.

What you never see are the statistics about work force demographic ratios in this war on woke and DEI. About whether, in fact, these policies are needed – and they are because white folk in positions of power hire white folk like themselves – it is the same all over the world. They just don’t like having anyone tread on their toes in this regard. The Trump regime are discarding adherence to the law and flouting the courts and judgements against them. The illegal deportation of Venezuelans from the US to El Salvador, including individuals with no ties to criminal gangs has shocked the nation and the world.

Right wingers, everywhere, look to the Trump regime for inspiration and to see what they can get away with. The lawlessness of Trump and DOGE sends the wrong kind of message if truth and adherence to the law are important to you.

It is the biggest shit show ever assembled in Washington DC and Trump is never off camera for longer than it takes to take a crap.”
