Adolf Hitler’s conception of the Jew and the effects of that cultural contagion upon the German volk was pretty crazy. His idea of the negative reach of this Jew problem included almost everything he considered weak and non-German. Christianity and the church were at their root part of the Jew influence in Hitler’s view. Bolshevism was a Jewish conspiracy in Hitler’s mind too. Hitler’s idealised conception of what it meant to be a pure Aryan German was located in the blood in his pseudo-scientific belief about this. Eugenics was all the rage in the 1920s and 30s. Social Darwinism was a part of this pop cultural misunderstanding of the emerging biological information coming to the fore. Hitler, racism and in the blood. The German medical and scientific establishment were proponents of ideas about selective breeding and culling of perceived bad stock. So, were many doctors and scientists in Europe and the United States. The human beings they called Negroes were considered lesser than those classified as Caucasians, as were Asians and others with different coloured skin tones. Nazism was not alone in its hierarchical judgements and evaluations of human beings. The fact that under the Nazi regime these German doctors and nurses would oversee the state sponsored murders and sterilisations of hundreds of thousands of disabled and mentally deficient human beings from 1933 to 1945 is the key difference. Look around at the evidence of stupid right wing culture war’s behaviours in Australia. Those on the Right champion fossil fuels like diesel and coal, despite the economic savings now available via renewable energy and batteries. Australia has spent the last 30 years facilitating the investment and development of LNG. During that same time frame, successive governments subsidised diesel use to the tune of billions every year. Australia is one of the largest exporters of LNG globally, but our transport trucks run on diesel and not on gas. Australia imports oil and diesel. Predominantly right wing federal governments have overseen the energy policies followed in Australia during this period. The trucking industry itself has long been content to stick with what it knows rather than open its eyes to realities like global warming. Surely, it would be smarter to use our own resources rather than run our essential trucking transport infrastructure on imported energy.Continue Reading

We live in a time of technological wonders. Technology, however, is not something just of itself, rather it comes loaded with revenue making deals for the vehicles that promote it. Think about the great choice of digital entertainment now available through all these streaming services. In the old days, we only had free to air TV offering limited content via broadcasting networks. Televised ads paid for these networks and programmes. Cable TV changed that and consumers paid a subscription fee and watched content ad free. Now, we get to pay those subscription fees and watch ads as well – how great is that! This is the progress running through Big Tech operations these days. The bean counters and CEOs are demanding ever greater ROIs to boost the share price. We were all promised better futures from these technological advances but instead we are saddled with higher fees and charges making our lives unaffordable. One Nation Has Sung The Praises Of Donald Trump

I observed an older white woman proselytising about One Nation to another woman of her vintage at the local shopping centre the other day. I did not listen closely enough to pick up on the details of the diatribe. It got me thinking about this spread of disinformation being funded by billionaire sponsor Gina Rinehart and those of her ilk. Pauline Hanson, the leader of One Nation has sung the praises of Donald Trump and visited Mara Lago, quite recently. Pauline has, for all her time in parliament, rarely been in government. She has been a fringe player and outsider looking on. There are parallels here with the administration of President Donald Trump, in that nearly all of his cabinet are similarly inexperienced outsiders.Continue Reading

There is no rise of the popular Right in Australia, as incorrectly suggested by some. What there is, is a battle for the Far Right vote between the waning Liberals, the Nationals and One Nation. The LNP federal Coalition between the Libs and the Nats is unravelling, as we speak. Metropolitan Australia has rejected the hard Right, Trumpist views and policies of the LNP Coalition expressed at the last federal election. The Libs were decimated in metro Australia giving Labor the largest parliamentary advantage ever. Christianity, for those unaware of its roots, is a franchise extension of Judaism; as is Islam by the way. The same cast of characters in many places turn up at the heart of these stories. Yes, Christianity is a franchise extension of Judaism. And they are stories, folks, because I spent many years studying ancient history and the actual evidence for much of their claims is slight to none. Collective narratives, however, can be mighty powerful things. Judaism predates Christianity by some 1500 years, so that story was very well established within its geographical region. It makes logical sense when you are inventing something new, like Christianity, to establish credibility by tacking it onto a well known backstory like the Jewish faith.Continue Reading
