Under Trump The South Rides Again

Much of what President Donald Trump is doing is not new in United States’ terms. Indeed, you can categorise it as another chapter in the South vs North civil war. Remember what flags flew in the hands of the January 6 violent protesters as they broke into the Capitol. The stars and bars were proudly displayed numerous times on that day. Under Trump the South rides again. Armed militia claiming to be patriots smashed up property and bashed in the heads of police protecting Congress. The Trump revisionism of that day cannot truly hide the scars and deaths incurred on that rebellious occasion. Presidential pardons cannot rewrite history, no matter the lies and bluster.Continue Reading

Albanese Is In Appeasement Mode

In politics you are either moving forward or trending downward. PM Anthony Albanese, the surprise success story of the last few years, has seemingly stopped reaching for progressive momentum. His Labor government has the largest federal parliamentary advantage in Australian history. Indications are that his government is more about defending the status quo than actively making things better downunder. The trouble with thinking that you are representing more people is that you get into appeasement mode. Governments and their politicians begin to make their priority staying in the job rather than pushing for change. Albanese is in appeasement mode, it seems.Continue Reading

No Rise Of The Popular Right In Australia

There is no rise of the popular Right in Australia, as incorrectly suggested by some. What there is, is a battle for the Far Right vote between the waning Liberals, the Nationals and One Nation. The LNP federal Coalition between the Libs and the Nats is unravelling, as we speak. Metropolitan Australia has rejected the hard Right, Trumpist views and policies of the LNP Coalition expressed at the last federal election. The Libs were decimated in metro Australia giving Labor the largest parliamentary advantage ever. Former leader Peter Dutton was sent packing, losing his seat and getting his party thumped mightily.Continue Reading

Why Are Labor Governments So Gutless?

The collapse of the Adelaide Writer’s Festival brings into stark relief the cowardly actions of governments and public boards in Australia in the face of Zionist threats. Pro-Israel influencers in the legal sphere are running censorship campaigns to control who has a voice in Australian cultural life. South Australian Premier Peter Malinauskas is the latest leader to kow tow to Zionist pressure in having Palestinian Australian writer Randa Abdel-Fattah removed from the Adelaide Writer’s Festival lineup for 2026. This has resulted in 4 board members resigning and hundreds of writers pulling out of the biggest writer’s festival in Australia. Why are Labor governments so gutless?Continue Reading

The US Illegal Invasion Of Venezuela

Watch the corporate media tilt the US illegal invasion of Venezuela into a ‘isn’t it great that Maduro is gone’ narrative. The heavily controlled US media has been coerced in advance by Trump. CBS has a new right wing boss, Bari Weiss, who already pulled a negative story about the El Salvador jails being used by the Trump regime. Just 5 companies control more than 90% of the major American media platforms. Americans do not care whose toes they step on. Indeed, they admire ‘bad ass’ actions, as if they have the God given right to take whatever they want. Even in Australia, the gutless ABC has a YouTube video entitled “Is the US Invasion Of Venezuela Legal?’ Of course, it isn’t!Continue Reading

Is It OK For Private Individuals To Accumulate Billions?

The rise of the billionaire class presents our societies with new challenging questions. Is it OK for private individuals to accumulate billions? Everyday people may think to themselves, I want to be able to accrue as much wealth as I can through my life, unhindered by governments. Unfortunately, the unfetteredContinue Reading

a sticker on the side of a pole that says curb your antisemit

Christianity, for those unaware of its roots, is a franchise extension of Judaism; as is Islam by the way. The same cast of characters in many places turn up at the heart of these stories. Yes, Christianity is a franchise extension of Judaism. And they are stories, folks, because I spent many years studying ancient history and the actual evidence for much of their claims is slight to none. Collective narratives, however, can be mighty powerful things. Judaism predates Christianity by some 1500 years, so that story was very well established within its geographical region. It makes logical sense when you are inventing something new, like Christianity, to establish credibility by tacking it onto a well known backstory like the Jewish faith.Continue Reading

Reviewing Australian Gun Laws

When reviewing Australian gun laws, we should realise that the world has changed greatly over recent decades. The advent of social media and the digital technology which makes it possible, all American inventions, has consolidated human thinking and in effect made the world smaller on this basis. Australians are no longer predominantly governed by local ideas and culture. The world has been infected with much of the conspiracy driven distrust of institutions, so prevalent in the United States, and Australia is no exception. Experts estimate that there are, currently, 4 million guns in Australia.Continue Reading

The Dishonesty Of Americans At The Epicentre

The Epstein files encapsulate the dishonesty of Americans at the epicentre of power. This long running saga, which has become a global talking point, intersects at the most important elements for American elites. Money, sex and power! The inability for the victims to achieve justice, apart from payoffs, illustrates the real America. Jeffrey Epstein collected elites like sports trading cards. Some of the most unlikely individuals pop up in his collection. I suppose the one thing that they had in common was a penis. Deepak Chopra, Noam Chomsky, Larry Summers, the formerly known as Prince Andrew, Bill Gates, Michael Jackson, Woody Allen, Robert F Kennedy Jnr, Ehud Barak, Kevin Spacey, David Copperfield, Jean Luc Brunel, and along with the more commonly associated names like Donald J Trump, Bill Clinton, Lex Wexnerand Peter Mandelson.Continue Reading

The Legacy Of Slavery

British and American plantation owners imported millions of Africans into the colonies as slave labour. That is a fact. The legacy of slavery. American Independence saw, in time, many northern states abolish slavery in their territories. Eventually, the Civil War 1861-66 was fought over the issue of slavery and the north won militarily. The result left 6 million African Americans in the United States who had been previously enslaved. The vast majority of these people were in the south. An assassin murdered President Abraham Lincoln while he was at the theatre. There had been much debate over what to do with all these former slaves. White folk in the north, whilst despising the institution of slavery in their nation, were not real keen on having all these black folk in their midst either. Being anti-slavery did not necessarily equate with not being a racist.Continue Reading
