Dutton is back on the border issue blaming a weak PM for a boat load of refugees on our northern border. Is Peter Dutton trying to be Australia’s Putin?  Making out that he is the strongman of the Oceana region; keeping us safe from a few desperate people in search of a better life. Immediately, he is finger pointing at the bad guys – the people smugglers. This is the ‘out’ for locking up these vulnerable human beings in offshore detention. Australians are punishing the bad guys and not just the refugees – although it is them who pay the price of their liberty for who knows how long.

Peter The Putin Of Oz

Peter Dutton wanted to order in the army into Alice Springs. Perhaps, he has observed Vladimir Putin and his police state and learned a few things. The Dutton way is to come down hard on young offenders and to protect private property with the full force of the law. Peter Dutton has no time for saying sorry. The Putin of Oz is a strongman. Who cares about yesterday and all that nonsense of colonialism, stolen children, and murdering Aborigines. The important things are private property and private wealth. These are the Liberal traditions the Putin of Oz is dedicated to protecting.

No Saying Sorry For Peter Dutton

Peter Dutton has no time for Voices to Parliament or changes to the Australian Constitution. Closing the gap is another PR exercise to assuage the lefties but has no real meat on the bone when it comes to doing business in Australia. Mining and the fossil fuel industry has Peter Dutton’s attention. Although, he is dabbling with the idea of a nuclear solution to this hoax called global warming. Digging s**** up out of the ground and selling it to other nations is the true blue way.

The Strongman Of Oz

Dutton stands ready, as the Putin of Oz, to assume the mantle when his time comes. He knows a strongman is what’s wanted to meet the uncertain waters of the future. No boat load of shivering refugees will weaken his resolve. No deal with dodgy directors of companies in the business of running our detention centres will prevent him from scoring political points. He admires the Russian leader and his regime over the last 25 years. Putin is the strongman of his generation; and all his rivals have met with unfortunate fates. Is Peter Dutton trying to be Australia’s Putin? The former Home Affair’s Minister has close ties to those in the security game. Indeed, also a prior Minister of Defence with many friendships in the military. The right wing Leader of the Opposition is dreaming of a uniform with shiny buttons. Coups and weak Prime Ministers. Dog whistling. Crying out crisis warnings at every opportunity.
